Essential information I
Dates – September 16 to 20, 2014

The symposium will officially start on September 16 at 6 pm with the opening dinner and ceremony followed by one of the plenary lectures and one keynote lecture. The castle and the accommodation are available for all conference guests already from 2 pm.

There will be four plenary lectures invited by organizers (55 minutes) , five keynote lectures invited by national coordinators (40 minutes), and 40 standard lectures (20 minutes). There will be two semi parallel sessions reflecting the various symposium topics. The poster session is supposed to display about 30 to 40 posters.

Symposium awards for best students presentations will be nominated.

The journal Research on Chemical Intermediates will serve as symposium special issue.

Special announcement I
The organizers are going to apply for financial support to the symposium at the Visegrad Fund. If successful the raised money will be used to subsidize two special PhD students conference awards. Each of them will cover full expenses of one month long research stay at laboratories of ICPF AS CR and/or ICT Prague.

Slovak Technical University, Bratislava

 for his effort in organization of the Pannonian catalytic meetings, for his life devotion to the education of young chemical engineers, and for his scientific achievements in the fields of chemical technologies and catalysis.

Important dates and deadlines

•  May 5 / deadline for abstract submission and submission of the registration form
• June 1 / national authorities of the International Symposium Board will inform each participant on the form of the approved presentation (oral or poster)
• July 1 / deadline for acceptation of the conference early fees, after this date full registration fees will be charged
• July 15 / guest editors of the symposium special issues will distribute invitation letters to potential authors
• September 16 / the symposium starts
• September 20 / deadline for submission of manuscripts to special issues
• November 20 / termination of the expected period when peer reviews will be carried out
• March 2015 / expected publication with corresponding DOI of the accepted papers in symposium special issues
